Josiah Power is a third-year student majoring in chemical engineering and biochemistry. He will graduate in May of 2024 and plans to start graduate school in August. He is currently a research assistant for Dr. Eric Nuxoll’s biochemical engineering lab, where he studies the thermal elimination of biofilm infections on orthopedic devices. He also TAs for Principles of Chemistry I and is a lab assistant at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. His hobbies include listening to and playing piano, starting fires and explosions in controlled and legal ways, and beating his friends in chess.
